MY STORY
I grew up in the Ohio river valley and spent many a long road trip riding through the rust belt, visiting family. These drives through a rural landscape, spotted with the rusted remnants of industry and active agriculture, has been a constant source of inspiration. Collections, as sweet and serene as the Ohio countryside, always incorporate a juxtaposing edge.
At the end of those road trips was always a large family gathering. The influence of many generations of homemakers under one roof is also incredibly formative to my design aesthetic. Fascinated by the idea of an ideal matriarch, a certain traditional femininity becomes a constant in every collection.
Every garment is made by me in my Hoboken studio. I do not abide by the fashion industry schedule. I believe one should create and share whenever vision strikes.
